Choice of small centre hole, or the large ‘jukebox style’ centre hole.
Sometimes called a ‘45’, the 7” vinyl record is ideal for short single tracks, with space for up to 5 minutes per side at the preferable 45rpm speed.
It is possible to extend the running time to around 7 minutes per side when played at 33 1/3rpm. However, due to the inferior audio playback at this speed, this is not recommended for music, but maybe suitable for spoken word, or projects where audio quality is not important.
